Qualifications and Experience
For GDMO:
- Candidates should have MBBS degree.
Experience:
- The candidate should have a Minimum of 02 years’ experience/ practice after MBBS (Internship training shall not be counted as experience).
For General Medicine:
Candidates should have done an MD or DNB in general medicine.
Experience:
- For E4 Grade: The candidate should have a Minimum 1 year of experience/ practice after MD/MS/DNB
- For E3 Grade: The candidate should have Fresh MD/MS/DNB or 02 years of experience/practice after completing MBBS plus PG Diploma in a relevant specialty.
For General Surgery:
Candidates should have MS/DNB in General Surgery.

Age Limit
The maximum age limit of the candidates should not be more than 37 years old.
Salary
For GDMO:
The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs. 50000–Rs. 160000.
For Medical Specialist:
The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of up to Rs. 70000–Rs. 200,000.

As indicated in the official notification of NTPC Recruitment 2024, candidates who belong to the UR, OBC, and EWS categories have to pay the application fees of Rs. 300, and those who belong to other categories are exempt from fee payment.
